Chairman’s Message: 20 th July 2020
The HK Government introduced revised rules regarding the virus effective 15th July 2020. On the 20th July 2020 these restrictions were extended until 28th July 2020. Masonic activity has been suspended by constitutional authorities, “until further notice”. All meetings scheduled for the end of July have been postponed. Therefore, the present arrangements at ZH will continue until 8th August. The hall will close at 6.00pm each day. There will be no masonic meetings or evening meals during this period. The hall will remain open in the day and lunches will continue to be available with the restriction of 4 to a table.
Staff will continue to work at the hall during the daytime to facilitate required administration and financial duties. Individual members may still access their lockers to check regalia, undertake administrative duties regarding their mail, archives and deal with any matters associated with the running of their various masonic orders. They are encouraged to use this period to assess and consider reducing any excessive amounts of archive records their orders may have.
A review will be conducted on the 7th August 2020 based on any information published by the Government at that time.
