The Trustees have reviewed the latest government regulations and have agreed the following measures, which will remain in place until further notice
1) Masonic Meetings
The rules for the use of the Temples are unchanged, with the exception that live performances (which include singing and playing the organ and other musical instruments) are NOT allowed.
It will be assumed that all meetings will go ahead as scheduled, unless the Admin Office is given at least two days notice of cancellation or postponement of any meeting, in which case the postponed meeting may be rearranged for a future date at no additional cost. All scheduled meeting must be paid for, regardless of whether they are rescheduled or not.
The Custodian and staff will, as far as possible, implement any revised meeting or ceremonial procedures requested by Districts and Provinces. Details of any revised procedures should be sent to the Admin Office ASAP.
Masks must be worn at all times.
2) Catering Premises
Zetland Hall will continue to operate in “Type C” mode of operation, except for specific events for which “Type D” mode may be requested.
The maximum number of persons per table in “Type C” mode is 4, and in “Type D” mode is 6. Live performances are NOT allowed.
The Banquet Hall and Bar must close at 6pm, after which time members must not congregate in any part of the ground floor. Those attending scheduled masonic meetings must proceed directly to the first and second floors, those not attending masonic meeting must leave the building.
No food or beverage may be consumed in the building after 6pm.
All other rules remain in place, in particular, masks must be worn at all times in all parts of the building, except when consuming food or drink at a table in the Banquet Hall or Bar. Updated FAQs are attached.

Happy New Year!
To start a safe and healthy 2022, I attach again the updated Application Forms for new members, which are also downloadable from zetlandhall.com).

I should, therefore, be grateful if you would use these new forms from now on and follow the procedures laid out in the notice.
I also attach a promotion flyer for the special Burns Night (January 22) organized by Zetland Hall for those masons (and their families and friends) who have no knowledge of Bro Robert Burns or haggis or the origin of Auld Lang Syne. Seats are extremely limited, so please book early.
Also attached is the Takeaway Order Form in anticipation of the arrival of the Year of the Tiger. The Christmas takeaways proved to be very popular so please also place orders well in advance...
Best regards,
Ben
